We stayed in a hotel located right in the center of a small town, close to bars and restaurants. the room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had a modern shower cabin. the breakfast was substantial, and the complimentary tea and coffee offered in the lobby was a nice touch. the spa facilities were good, with a swimming pool and sauna area.
The hotel was quite overpriced compared to other 4-star hotels in the area.

Hotel is nice. It was here for the first time and experience was great! We had a family room and had everything you need. I liked the breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast, there is porridge and cottage cheese, muesli, slices of meat and vegetables, omelette, sausages and meatballs, red fish and herring, fruits, tasty air croissants biscuits for tea and coffee. In short, thank you very much! much liked the spa complex, it can be accessed by warm transfer from the hotel. For hotel guests, if desired, give free disposable hats. is a city swimming pool and therefore there are full swimming lanes. In addition, there is a children's pool shallow and even a department with hydromassages of different and a department where the monitor shows a complex of aqua-aerobics and wishing can perform these exercises. also the big plus that in all these pools comfortable water, instead of ice, as in the majority of pools in hotels of Finland. There are two saunas: one is not very hot and other is hot, is also very comfortable, as there are a lot of elderly people and children. it is thought over! It is only necessary to take with itself a small towel (there is no paper for a lining in a sauna) and big towel for a body. There is a microwave in the hotel lobby on the floor, so you can use it to warm up. Great!
1. We had a family room and it was at the elevator itself. 2. The microwave in the lobby was right behind the wall and we could hear all the neighbors coming to heat something up. 3 The pool finishes early at night, Saturday until 6:00 or 7:00. We did not want to go there in the evening, because it is better to walk around the city at this time, and after a walk it would be nice to go for a swim, but ... no, so we visited the spa complex in the morning. It works from 10 o'clock.

Since we arrived a little late, we unfortunately could not use the spa. But the price was a little high and the room very small.

I lived in this hotel for weeks. Thank you very much to the responsive staff of the hotel, which helped always and in any situation. In general, the hotel has everything you need - good beds, delicious, though a bit monotonous breakfast and quiet rooms. On the ground floor there is a table with tea or coffee at any time. The hotel is in the center near several shops, pharmacy, pizzeria, pub, burger room. Reception is not round the clock, but there is always contact with the staff, in case of any questions or in case of late check-in. I did not get into the Spa - it was closed in May for cleaning.
Pretty high room rates, but this is really the best hotel in Hamina.

Great location and good breakfast options. The bed was comfortable and the room had nice decor. We appreciated the helpful staff that offered us maps and recommendations for local attractions.
The noise level at night was unbearable due to the bar next door, which hosted loud parties. , the air conditioning in our room was not working properly, so we had trouble sleeping due to the heat.

The room was clean, and the breakfast was very nice
having to pay 16.00 euros for wifi I thought is a bit rediculous, also when we went to check in and pay for the room there was no one at the front desk.

During our Easter stay, we appreciated the tasty breakfast and the free parking. the location of the hotel is very convenient: we were able to explore the nearby town easily and even took a short drive to another town. We also enjoyed the spa facilities and the relaxing atmosphere.
The lack of options for dinner nearby. We struggled to find a decent restaurant and ended up eating at the hotel's own restaurant, which was quite expensive.

Location near the city center and swimming pool.
Air conditioning is not functioning. The bar next door is full of motorcycle riders. They keep going around it in circles and revving the engine till late at night. Also the spa is actually a city swimming pool. During my stay it was open from 13 to 19 pm. To summarize: noisy, hot and no spa.

The hotel is conveniently located in the town center, near the market place. Cleanliness is great, and staff are friendly and English-speaking. The breakfast is high-quality and there is parking available.
Everything was fantastic.

A clean hotel with free parking, right in the center of the small town of Hamina.
1. For kids-friendlyness a kids play room would be nice, as well as potty in the room. 2. The wi-fi is free, but you need a separate id and password for each device, they are long and troublesome to type in. Moreover, one of the access codes given to me didn't work, which I found out only after midnight and there were no more staff at the desk by that time, so I ended up offline for the night. 3. The guy servicing breakfast is very grim, never smiles or says "hello" :)
